Chez Panisse has a website at http://www.chezpanisse.com . However, it's probably at least as interesting to go to an article I found on 'America's 50 Best Restaurants' after I'd thought about going, which is online at http://www.eat.epicurious.com/gourmet/restaurant_reviews/ .
Regardless of what might happen expedition-wise next year, I'm definitely renting a car. Last year it was too fun to be able to wander off and explore other parts of the area. Not that the con isn't fun, but San Mateo is not as photogenic as Big Sur. :)
