"Early" is relative

For me, for instance, finding myself up just after 8am and feeling relatively refreshed anyway is early. I feel like I need to take advantage of this somehow.

I did almost no writing yesterday, after descending into what could best be called a post-lunch grump that I never quite got out of--little niggling things at a relatively constant rate. Will I do better today? Well, I'd... better, I suppose. Today there's a "write-in" at Orchard Valley Coffee I might go to, but that's over six hours away. Wow.

So. Get coffee here at the house, stay here and try to write... or head off somewhere else for breakfast and a change of scenery?

Yeah, okay. It's me. Change of scenery is likely.

I do not see you! But then, I've only ever met you once, for all of about 3 minutes at FC-something-or-other. I'm not entirely sure I would remember just what you look like.

As I turned out, I never got to OVC -- I planned to hit it on the way back from a rather meandering path I took through Livermore, but decided to come back home instead. I may attempt to write here (gasp) after dinner; it'd be nice to get in at least another thousand words.
