Happy birthday!

I’m still sick — and let’s call this “flu,” not “con crud” — so my brain is still largely offline. I’m getting better, but I’ve put off going to get a passport picture taken because I’d rather not look this much like a zombie.

But that’s not what I’m here to post about! Instead, I’d just like to say: Happy Birthday, [livejournal.com profile] susandeer!

I can give you… uh… the flu! But I’ll try not to.

The Flu Shot! I hadz it. Good thing, too. When the Valley is laid waste, as it is right now, I am the last woman standing! And Gods help you all, because I can't make all this technology go! @:)

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

I am sorry to hear that ou are unwell; last year, for the first time, I acquired a dry scratchy throat by Sunday, a cough by that evening, and a hoarse voice by departure time on Monday morn. By the time Corbett, Chythar, and I were back in SoCal (after a pilgrimage to the Central Texan Barbecue in Castroville and a visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium), my voice was gone. I went to work on Tuesday - infecting about 5 of my co-workers - and missed work the next two days, stuffed up and delirious and aching at every joint. Never had that happen before, or since.

I missed seeing Sue at the convention, and wish her well on her birthday!

...And the memory of that Mai-tai still impresses - formula/recipe, please?
