My resume has been 'out there' in various forms for months, actually, although currently it's only searchable on CareerBuilder and DirectEmployers. I took it off Monster as it appears that's where NetPoodles searches and my boss was catching some flak for my flagrant job hunting, but the chances are very high I'll put it back this weekend.
I suspect I have to make a decision about whether I want to put the bulk of the 'marketing effort' into my web developer persona or my technical writer one. Judging by the responses the two resumes have been getting on CareerBuilder (i.e., nothing, and I'm pretty sure it's not because they're poor resumes), I need to expand my skill set in both categories, particularly if I'm going to be attractive to companies in different parts of the country.
If you (or anyone else) have any job hunting tips you're interested in sharing, I'm certainly interested in listening.
