That pretty much nails the thoughts I have about it. I'm definitely nervous about the idea of heading out somewhere that far away--but I haven't 'left home' before, either, in about the same sense you mean. For practical purposes I've always lived not only just in Florida, but in the Tampa Bay area.
I suppose I'll see what happens this week, as it seems to be shaping up as a focal point with both the Linvatec position and Tug's friend. First, off to drop off a whole lot of books and a couple pieces of stereo equipment at WMNF for their sale...
