I hope you don't mind, but I added you to my friends list some time ago because we've been through a similar ordeal of getting laid off in the Tampa area, and having to seek employment somewhere else.
This is my first year in Cleveland, and I love it here in the big, wide, chilly Midwest. Cleveland rocks!!
Anyhow, I wanted to comment on your 'lovely places to drive' remarks. Yes, I-75 is wonderful -- Pasco County (where my parents still live) is still nice, too, though rather flat in comparison to Hernando's hilly, misty beauty.
I-77 through West Virginia's mountains is really, really scenic and breathtaking. Also, I-75 through northern GA/southern TN is equally remarkable.
How people can throw trash out the windows of their cars is beyond me.
