It might not be much help, but the first thing through *my* mind is "Great purchase!". I've been in and out of the local Mac store several times over the past few weeks, looking at the G5, and it's one of the rare instances where I've looked at a computer and thought it was *sexy*, a machine with style *and* substance. All of the benefits of OS X, the Mac architecture and performance ... and damned if it isn't pretty! The G5 is the *only* time I've looked at the guts of an unmodified computer and had to admit it was aesthetically pleasing: clean, streamlined, well laid out. And externally well designed and modern looking too, unlike the pseudo-futurist bubblegum-pop look of the G4 series. With all the new furniture, you're well on your way to becoming one of those avante-garde California writer-types! Remeber us little people, when you're rich, hunh? :)
