Now both Anthrocon hotels are booked full and I still hadn't gotten a room; I have one offer of a room from
jadedfox, with what appears to be 1d4 other people staying there--a fudge factor which makes me vaguely antsy. I gave up the "how many people can we fit into one hotel room" style of con-going a decade ago and the couple of times I've tried to stay in a hotel room with more than 1 or 2 other people, I'm reminded why.
I've hurriedly made a reservation at the Hampton Inn, a few blocks away, for a lot of money. (Just potential money at this point, of course, since it's only a reservation.) I'm starting to wonder if I should just save my money this year, though.
Bonus irony points: this is the one year I actually remembered to buy a membership for the con in advance.
