chipotleNo, I'm not updating the journal as often as I'd like. The hours at the company are officially 9:00 to 5:00, but in practice they're about 10:00 to 7:30 (or later, depending on who you are and what's going on). Really I should be in bed now, but my hours were already a little screwed up--by my Florida standards, at least--as I effectively normalized around the sleeping schedule of my roommates.
I need to get back into the habit of making lists of things that need to get done, or I won't make time to do them. This includes things like paying a $30 parking ticket I got some time ago (hopefully it's still only $30) and calling the Florida unemployment office to let them know I'm not unemployed for the moment.
Kim, my temporary housemate in Largo, the one I moved in with after I got laid off at NetPoodles) and who was laid off from his job shortly thereafter, arrived in San José during the convention I was at over the weekend and has already found an apartment. Hopefully his job hunting will go as well.
