chipotle(1) Disney decides making "Pirates of the Caribbean," a theme park ride, into a movie is a good idea.
(2) Friends and I see trailers for the movie a few months ago and are struck by the disquieting notion that the movie does, in fact, look good.
(3) The movie is nearly out, is having preview screenings, and is getting mostly good reviews. While it's too early to know if the 91% on the tomatometer is going to hold, that's one of the highest scores of any major studio release currently playing.
For now, though, I'm sticking to my belief that the movie version of "Haunted Mansion" will suck teabags. (As one reviewer quipped, "Personally, I can't wait for 'Space Mountain.'")
