"..."

I just spent four hours in line at the California Department of Motor Vehicles, so I could register my automobile for the low low price of $605.

Now, though, I'm happily back at work, where I put together a quick SQL query for a report I was asked to do, made sure the query works just fine in a MySQL graphic front end, and have now cut and pasted the query into Microsoft Query. Microsoft Query says that it can't find the tables in the query--this despite the fact that it's displaying the structure of said tables on the screen behind the error dialog box where it says it can't find them. (It turns out it's insisting on adding "_0" to the table names.)

I want to end this with a sentence that begins "I'm definitely ready to..." except that I'm not sure what should come after the ellipsis at this point.

I was fretting about my driver's license getting near expiration (I pretty much have to catch it before it runs out, because I don't have a car to take the driving test with if it does), and actually started to make an appointment this afternoon, when I looked at the thing and saw that I had two more years on it. Dur!

"...bust a cap." You are definately ready to bust a cap. Or cat, should you like to substitute it a bit. Either way, it's just as effective. I encourage cat-busting daily, personally...

...Or something. I'm sorry Microsoft and the MVA have teamed up to make your day as unenjoyable as possible. Just try not to imagine the two companies actually merging; the very thought could bring apocralypse upon us all. Which, I'm told, wouldn't be a good thing.

Leaks of classified information are bad things, too!

I have heard you can deduct California car registration on your IRS 1040 (or maybe State?). I don't have the details but am looking into amending my last few years if this is the case. This registration increase is going to be the death of me.
