I just spent four hours in line at the California Department of Motor Vehicles, so I could register my automobile for the low low price of $605.
Now, though, I'm happily back at work, where I put together a quick SQL query for a report I was asked to do, made sure the query works just fine in a MySQL graphic front end, and have now cut and pasted the query into Microsoft Query. Microsoft Query says that it can't find the tables in the query--this despite the fact that it's displaying the structure of said tables on the screen behind the error dialog box where it says it can't find them. (It turns out it's insisting on adding "_0" to the table names.)
I want to end this with a sentence that begins "I'm definitely ready to..." except that I'm not sure what should come after the ellipsis at this point.

Date: 2003-09-30 16:29 (UTC)...Or something. I'm sorry Microsoft and the MVA have teamed up to make your day as unenjoyable as possible. Just try not to imagine the two companies actually merging; the very thought could bring apocralypse upon us all. Which, I'm told, wouldn't be a good thing.
