...which may sound odd, but it's really good. I had some at Duarte's Tavern in Pescadero today. This is a heck of a distance to go for lunch, granted, but I've been put on temporary hiatus at work -- a downtime that hopefully won't be more than two weeks. We'll see. I won't complain for right now, though -- maybe I'll even manage to put the time to good use.
I'm vaguely leaning toward a variant of Alopex's suggestion, Claw and Quill, as a name for the theoretical webzine. I do like the "spirit" of Descendants and related concepts but can't find a name that matches for that.
I can also see a logotype in my mind, but have yet to figure out how to get from that to something on the screen. :)

Date: 2004-07-24 09:57 (UTC)How about "Scion"? Not only does it mean "descendant or heir" but it also can be "a detached plant shoot used in grafting". I kind of like the image of propogating Aesop and other storytellers of old using grafting.
